Devon Dederich
and Anne Schultz lead the first of a series of weekend immersion workshops for
students and teachers interested in deepening their practice and understanding
of Yoga, using the tools of the Iyengar method, and insight from ancient and
modern philosophers. We will delve more
deeply than in ordinary classes into the philosophy, anatomy, logic and
articulation of yogic ideas in our minds, in practice, and in life.
Friday
3:30-4:30pm Regular Teachers’ Practice
($10; Devon leads)
4:30-6:30pm
Advanced Practice ($20; Anne leads)
7:30-9:00pm
Philosophy Talk and Discussion:
The Two Wings of Yoga Practice ($30; Anne leads at Devon’s house. Soup provided, plus BYO easy light dinner
food)
Saturday 10:00-12:30pm
The Two Wings of Yoga Asana ($30; Devon teaches)
2:30-5:00pm, The Two Wings of Restorative Practice
($30; Devon teaches)
5:00-5:15pm
Questions and Comments.
Cost: $120 for full attendance the whole weekend. OR, $90 for Friday evening Philosophy Soup Kitchen plus both sessions Saturday plus some transportable dinner-type food you like for Saturday evening.
Please consider carpooling to and from these events. Plan ahead and save gas.
