Advanced Practice Sequence for Immesion Weekend.

Taking Flight: Practice and Detachment

Okay, so this  sequence reflects  the theme of  immersion weekend in a variety of ways.

·      Basic poses that we practice  form the foundation for the harder poses.
·      We need to practice the harder poses regularly.
·      We  have to cultivate an attitude of what I would call engaged detachment.  Don’t get too upset about the inability to do, to do well, to do at all.  Watch and learn.  Continue to practice.
·      Bird poses and balancings represent flight.
·      Don’t be overwhelmed. There’s plenty on this sequence that I can’t do. Come and do what you can.
