A note about Friday Teacher Practice

Hi Everyone,  The  Friday 3:30  Teacher practice  is not  technically a teacher training.   It is my mistake for  calling it that on the blog in previous weeks.  It is a time where we get together to practice teaching skills and discuss issues that come up in classes.   Hence, it is a teaching skills practicum, not a teacher training.

It is a lot of fun!

Backbend sequence for Friday

Hi All, we are on this Friday at 4:30 and there's teacher training at 3:30 for an additional ten dollars if you are interested.  This  one is  from  Devon.   She  says "Here is a Jr III type sequence leading toward Dwi Pada Viparita Dandasana, based on a sequence from Light on Yoga.  A bit odd in the sequence order, but this is the way Mr. Iyengar did it back in the days he was writing the book.  Interesting to feel how the older method works."
