Devon is teaching Special Topics tomorrow.
Here is an opportunity to get prepared, and then meet and work with the
Mother of Asanas, Salamba Sarvangasana, or Shoulderstand, and several
other important members of her family. We'll prepare with several
helpful poses that can reveal and allow you to correct
problems in the strength and mobility of the shoulder girdle, spine,
legs, and hips. Then we will go about systematically moving through the
shoulderstand cycle, working with each variation in turn to help make
the one that follows easier, to help lift more
weight off the neck and head, to help the heart, brain, and thought
become subdued and rested, and the breath softer and easier.
Basically, I hope to offer you the equivalent of a two-week vacation
package, all rolled into a two-hour class on Shoulderstand. Three weeks
if you add the pranayama class at 9:15 as well. Okay, staycation.
It's quite a deal when you look at it this way:
9:15-10:15am Pranayama $15
10:30am-12:30pm Asana $20
Both classes $30
